wranglerx16
Hi all, I recently purchased 2 used machines, they both have cantoloupe readers. I have an AP933 D and DN5800-4. I have watched videos, read manuals and i can't get the price change to work. I also have a combo machine w/ no reader and i have no issue changing that price. is it because of the card readers? on the snack machine i hit the price change button or try and go through the menu and it just beeps when i push it and doesn't do anything. On the pop, it doesn't seem to select the price change option when i try. Any help is greatly appreciated!
AngryChris
On the bevmax, I believe you have to press the service mode then 7 to get to the price option
wranglerx16
Thanks, I have done all that, but it won’t let me select or change anything
AngryChris
Maybe you have a bad door switch. Try pulling it out (there might be 2). That might allow you to enter service mode. I don't know about the
cvending
here are the instructions for setting pricing in a AP 933: Mode 20 – Price Assignment Mode 20 is used to assign the standard price for all selections in the machine. To access this mode, press the Service Switch, then use the Set Price Fast Track Key or press 20 on the numeric keypad. Pressing either the ◄ or ► key will allow you to toggle back and forth between the fields. Use the numeric keypad to enter the price in Field A, then toggle to Field B to assign the current price to a selection. To exit this mode, press the C key or press the Service Switch. Note ♦ The maximum price allowed is $99.99. Special Actions ♦ Setting selections with a blank price disables that selection which means DEX information will no longer be transferred or displayed for items disabled in this way. The blank price is set by depressing the # Key. ♦ The * key can be used as a wildcard in Field B to set entire rows (12*) or the entire machine (1**). ♦ After assigning the prices, make sure you adjust the scrolling price tabs to reflect the current or new price. You can use the ◄ or ► key while in the operate mode with the door open to check the prices in the machine.
wranglerx16
Thanks, i've tried following all of the manuals and steps. its almost like the machines are locked, its weird. wasn't sure if the card readers affected it or not. just odd that both machines are doing it
Vendo Mike
I'm pretty sure BevMax has a Master reset function. If the boards are "locked" as you say, wiping the slate clean and reprogramming may be your best way forward.
