I have 3 machines that are currently experiencing this issue. I have two AP 112's, and an FSI/USI 3076 with this problem. I just barely purchased a new bill validator for the FSI/USI 3076 and also recently upgraded the control board with an inone kit. The AP 112's have original parts. Basically, the machines accept one bill just fine, but then will not accept any subsequent bills for the same purchase. Basically, anything that is priced over a dollar, the difference must be made up in coins. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Okay so my location called and said that my machine wasn’t giving change. The Seedlive report said check coin changer; which to me sounds like a coin jam. I went in to go check it, it had a jam; I cleared it. Tested it....still won’t give change. Pulled the cassette to mess with the payout mech, make sure everything was moving freely; and now the bill validator won’t accept bills and the machine says “use exact change.” What happened to my machine? this is the first time I’m having any troubles with it.

I recently purchased a Dixie Narco DNCB-3687MPC that was built in the fourth quarter of 1991. It is coin payment only at the moment. The machine is compatible with MARS TRC-6200/TRC-6800; Crane 500, 510, 525, C-3000 and more coin mechs from Coin Acceptors Inc, and Conlux USA. My question: Is it possible to add a bill validator to the machine? It has an ARDAC 2x5562 board with harness that runs to the knockout plates on the door. From my understanding ARDAC validators are obsolete and the crossover would be a MEI/MARS 2000 series. It is also my understanding that the molex plugs look the same from ARDAC to MARS but are not wired the same or are not electrically compatible. I am brand new to vending machines. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, my name is Itrula. I'm new to vending. Found your forum while searching for info on DN 501e. I have 5 machines in Jamaica 🇯🇲 and would like to expand. Can anyone help in providing info on persons or companies that program coin mechanism and bill validators to accept different currency. Preferably with a quick turn around time.

I'm searching for a way to have two bill validators on the same MDB VMC controller. I have physically plugged two in parallel but only one will work.

We are having issues with the amount of credit being output when the machine accepts bills. It's reading the number of the bill properly, but scaling the amount down to 10%. (Coins read credit output fine in the coin mech.) When we input a $1 bill, it only registers 10 cents as credit. A $5 bill registers as 50 cents. A $10 bill registers as $1.00. A $20 bill registers as $2.00. We have a Gaines VM-750 AND P70. I believe we are struggling with the DIP Settings for this specific combo. Does this sound correct? Does anyone know what they should be? When following the ICT P70 manual recommended settings, this is our outcome. For reference here are out settings: Switch Set 1: SW1 - OFF SW2 - OFF SW3 - OFF SW4 - OFF SW5 - OFF SW6 - ON SW7 - ON SW8 - ON SW9 - ON SW10 - ON Switch Set 2: SW1 - ON SW2 - OFF (P70 manual recommends ON for Pulse Protocol, but we found it would not function unless we turned this OFF to select ICT Protocol.) SW3 - OFF SW4 - OFF I would really appreciate any input anyone has on this matter. Thank you so much!

I bought a Futura 3589 combo machine on site, and the bill validator is set to the factory setting of accepting only $1 bills. I'd like to change it to accept $5, which involves toggling a switch on the side of the box. Unfortunately, while it's in the machine, there's no way to see the side of it, and I can't feel where exactly the switches are. I'm hoping that if I can find out exactly where the toggle switch is I can reach back with my hand and a tool to switch it without having to remove the whole unit. The online manuals I can find have pictures of the general "series", but not the specific model, and apparently there are differences in where the switches are located: Conlux NBM-3110, Model F This is a long shot, but if anyone has this specific model sitting around and can send me a photo of the side of it, I would really appreciate it! I think it's going to be on the right side when you're facing it inside the open door. It will probably have two switches, labeled "1" and "2". Thanks in advance!

Hello all! I recently purchased my first vending machine. I have a location ready and am excited to get started! I purchased a used Snack Shop 7600 with the bill acceptor not working. Turns out it didn't have a wiring harness at all. Ordered the harness offline and have it all hooked up. However, I am getting the blinking red light - two blinks. When I plug the Mars series 2000 bill acceptor into power, it goes through the start up sequence; then starts the two blinks. I am thinking that there is a switch or setting that I don't have turned on or something. Hoping for some insight on some problem solving steps before I buy a new bill validator. Thank you in advance!

I have three older vending machines that are not MDB compatible. I would love to have card readers but since that is not an option, I would like to upgrade my bill validators. Currently, my machine only accepts ones. Can I simply buy a new bill validator with the same voltage & upgrade to one that accepts 5's, 10's, and 20's? When doing this do I also have to upgrade the coin mech? Would love to know if this is possible and if I can just do this myself vs. hiring somebody to do it for me. Thanks!

Hello have a customer with a FSI 3076 Their old bill validator is a old conlux mB2-16a-400 27 volt. it is no longer taking bills but it is taking coins. There is an upgrade path from usi/vendnet for a coinco ba32f bill validator both 117 and 24 volt model (buying the data and power cable from USI/Vendnet) but the question is this, will a mei 24 or 117 volt validator work on this machine at all? Thanks for the help!
