Hi Vending Fam! I’m reaching out today to see what operators are doing with their dn5800’s from coke that are equipped with co2 compressors?? I don’t know where to get them charged and Coke doesn’t swap parts. I looked into the conversion kit (to switch it over to r134) and it looks like a very cumbersome job (not to mention very expensive). any advice, suggestions are helpful. thanks so much!! LGV

Hey Guys, looking for a little insight here. I have a Bevmax 4 at my shop. I have a location I'm taking it to the week of the 15th so I wanted to test it all out. I let it run overnight and noticed every time I go into my shop, it's running. I have the setpoint at 37. The machine does read 37 degrees, as does my separate temp gauge that I set inside. BUT, when I open the door for a while to mess around with price settings and things of that nature, it will warm up to say 50 degrees. Now, when I close the door, 15 minutes can go by, and the temp won't go down at all. Fast forward to the next morning, and it's back at 37, but still running. No error codes. The evaporator in the lower right corner does have a decent build up of frost on the upper half. Not just a thin coat of frost, but not a block of ice. Just a medium thick build up of frosty material. Does this sound like low freon? Also, are there any common air leak areas I should check? Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

I am trying to replace the compressor in my old Pepsi vending machine but I am having trouble determining the model. Can anyone help me out?

Hi all I have 3 of these machines (crane 455). One of them has an issue with the compressor not kicking on. Normally I figured it was a temp sensor issue but I changed both sensors. I replaced the refer deck with a spare which has a brand new compressor. Tommorow I will try changing out both boards and triac in the machine. It wants to turn out but it "coughs and sputters and stops". I'm wondering what it could be.
