Robcamaro
Can someone tell me how to know if you're putting a cam on a 501e vend motor correctly. It can go on 2 ways. So how do I know it's on correctly without putting it on the machine and testing it? Thanks.

I'm not sure if this will work for sure but, if you look at the other columns and compare their cams against the rotors, you should be able to tell which way your cam should be (compared to the way the rotor is for that selection). Wait for someone else to answer before you try that though.
mojorhino
Is there a reason why you cant put it on like the other ones Unless you are talking about the wide column. If that is the case here is a picture of one of my 501E's
Robcamaro
Because all the motors are off the machine and being replaced due to flood.
AZVendor
The relation of the rear cam to the position of the rotor is the key. Since the cams are easy to remove and install you should simply install them all on the motors, install the motors and then test vend the columns to see which rotors are out of time. It's very easy to pull the cams off the out-of-time motors and turn the rear cam 180 degrees to correct the timing.

cvending
Part of your display must be burned out. Is should read "wait" as the machine resets. That should disappear in about 10 seconds.
