melobyrro1
hi guys, is there a kit, i can make a national 148, 158, to be ada compliant? to lower the validator?
AngryChris
You can buy a revision door. That will set you back at least $1200. Or you can just buy another machine. I don't think there's any room to mount the validator somewhere else. To be honest, I would like to think that the 148 is low enough to be ADA compliant. I take that back. If the 148/158 are 4 sides, I don't think a revision door is an option.

AZVendor
Removing the legs is one idea if you need the access to the coin/ bills and delivery door to be lower. Just realize that you won't be able to open the door without it dragging on the ground and you won't be able to level it. The revision door would be a better choice and it would be more professional. wheelermj
Keep in mind that ADA compliant is more than having everything below 48", it also means that the customer doesn't have to reach any lower than 15" off the ground to retrieve their product or change. Cutting the feet off the machine would make it compliant in one way, but not the other.
