newguy47591
Ok so my Vendo live display unit had a board issue causing entire machine to say sold out. I put a new board on and it fixed that issue. However now the display is messed up..I have included a picture..it looks like its blinking a 0 on each side and has a decimal point.... I tried the old board and the display is clear as day saying sold out..put new board back on and its back to this display. what do i do?
AZVendor
That probably means that wherever you got the "new" board from didn't send you a properly working board. There isn't any difference in display drivers between logic boards so your new board is bad. Email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom if you need a good board. darkinthepark
That looks like the display on the Predator's watch...

Corvus Corax
I had a weird issue with a Vendo 720 display. I was trying to change the price, and the display started to freak out with the Predator countdown. Unplugged it for a minute, plugged it back in, all better. BTVFC
Had a similar problem with a Vendo V21. It turned out that the controller had the wrong firmware.
BTVFC
To elaborate a little more, the controller was loaded with Pepsi firmware, and the machine was a generic. Different displays. Changed out for the standard firmware, and all was good.
newguy47591
How do you do this? thanks
BTVFC
Parts houses like Bettson & DS sell the firmware chips. In most cases, you remove the old chip and replace it with the new. What controller & version is in this machine?
