parrotthead
I had a brand new 75 cent beaver coin mechanism jam on me the other day. It was on location for maybe 1 or 2 months. I email my beaver rep and this is his reply. "Sometimes, if you do not check the machine often enough the large amount of coins in the body can cause the coin mechanism to jam......" So because it took in to much money it jammed? Has anyone else had this problem?
Boris
I don't have any of those but to much money in the machine sounds like a nice problem to have.
AMD Snacks
was the machine packed full of quarters?
parrotthead
The machine was just about empty but by no means was it packed full of quarters.
AMD Snacks
Hmm, sounds strange. I don't have any beaver .75 mechs though. My other .75 mechs have jammed only when a foreign object got in them, or the quarters beneath didn't get knocked off and stacked up into the mech. musser
some times coins will pile up on the chute and jam the coin mech, northwestern model 60 have this issue, oaks have a sweep on the mech to stop this from happening
rodney69
I have anti coin pilers for my s60's and oaks for a few locations that don extremely well. You might ask them if there's one for the beaver mech. If you need a pic of what i use, call me tomorrow and I'll take a pic off one when I get home. rodney69
They've been around for years. NW made onger and so does oak. It takes high volume to need it typically. Example, I have a 4 way that does 200-250 every 2 months. Skittles does about 75-100 I use one on that head only. I can send you a pic tomorrow if you text or call me tomorrow's
