maestro489
How do you tell the difference between a drink and a snack validator? I have a mars 2511 and a 2512 but not sure if they are drink or snack.
cvending
Validators are not specific to either snack or drink vendors. They work in both. The 2512 is a 24 VAC unit and the 2511 is a 110 VAC unit.
AngryChris
The 4th number only refers to voltage. The 3rd number refers to the bezel that came with the validator when it was new, but that doesn't matter as the bezel can be changed. Even so, a lot of machines can use either bezel, especially bottler bezels. What you really need to find out is what you need for a specific machine. AZVendor
The difference between the bezels is that the flasher bezel, or bottler bezel, will fit with the body of the validator right up against the front of the door or metal it's attached to. The snack bezel, the non-flashing or "VFM" bezel will space the body of the validator away from the metal or door about 3/8" to 1/2" so that harnessing, displays, etc. will not be crushed by the validator.
