kyle0050
I have been looking for a new snack machine for my location for a while now and keep scouring my local CL (Atlanta) for a decent looking snack machine for sale but I just don't get where some of these people get their prices from. I see machines from the late 90's asking $900+, Machines that look dirty as hell and look like they could be a maintenance nightmare for $1,500+. I just don't get it. Are snack machines always this expensive or are most people delusional on used snack machines prices? If anyway can point me on what used snack machines brands I should buy used and what NOT buy used to buy would be great too! Or maybe I am just a cheap bastard and gotta pony up the money? Anacapa Vending
Not all machines are created equal. Give us makes and models so we can help you find a fair price. Remember these machines are assets and good assets don't depreciate fast.
QuikVend
I see the same thing in all the areas I search. Part of that is people look up a machine online, see either the new or refurbished price and list it at that price.
AngryChris
There used to be someone selling a polyvend machine with a MAKA validator around here for $2,000 firm. They claimed it was "like new." I classify these sellers as one of three people. A) they overpaid and want their money back. B ) they just want to rip an unsuspecting person off. Or C) they have no idea what it's worth and just find an inflated price for any used machine and slap a price tag on it based off of that. You can find good deals out there, but you gotta check constantly. Personally, i prefer to get refurbished snacks from professional conpanies. I haven't gotten anything from craigslist in years but i'd get a soda machine if i needed one.
orsd
https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/for/d/2-ap-snack-vending-machines/6371007060.html If this one has the UCB as shown (green display instead of the old red ones) then it is a pretty good deal, because the UCB updates the machine to take credit cards. In my area a good condition AP 7600 with the UCB will go for about 900+, if they are even for sale. ETA: JK, Mobile is quite a ways from Atlanta
