lacanteen
Switch 6 is your $5. However, if you get no steady red light, acceptor or harness is bad.
dewser
the harness works with the BA30B
lacanteen
Then that Mag 50 is bad as well

orsd
Both the BA 30 and Mag 50 are getting long in the tooth. Even if a validator "ran when parked" time is not kind to idle bill acceptors. Sensors get dusty, belts dry rot, etc.
dewser
this one was supposed to be remanufactured and working fine.I guess not
orsd
Is it a reman from a reputable supplier or an eBay "reman"? I will sometimes buy used acceptors from eBay, but I will only do it knowing that it could very well need to be rebuilt. (I usually get them when I need a rebuilldable core anyway, as I figure that any use I get out of it is a bonus, and even then I will only use them in my low volume locations)
