Though right now the temps are dropping down to the low 100s and we have none of your humidity yet. Between Phx and Prescott on the I-17 is Rock Springs Cafe that is famous for their pie. AngryChris Posted June 19, 2019 Author Share Posted June 19, 2019 I'm going to visit family. It's not a well planned trip but sudden circumstances have sent me on this trip. My wife and I are big foodies but I'm more into trying things I can't get anywhere else. So, anything I can't get at home (or anywhere else in particular) get me interested. The cafe sounds nice. When I do travel, I tend to spend some bucks on food. We would love to try places seen on food shows. Doesn't really matter whether it's a fancy restaurant or a diner or even a food truck. Beautiful country from there through Tucson and south Texas. You might already realize that from Prescott, you're about 3 hours from the south rim of the Grand Canyon.
