There is basically no market for payphones anymore outside of tiny niches.

And even in their heyday they were owned and operated by the local phone company.

You would almost certainly lose money, if you could even get a phone connection from the local telco for the purpose.

Honestly the only reason is because it’s been a dream for me. 
I don’t care about the money.

Not a dream, but a nightmare.  You will do nothing other than lose money as no one will use a payphone.  After deregulation there were millions of aftermarket payphones put out but do you see any now?  Of course not.  You would be more successful selling burner cell phones from a vending machine.
