Magiccity726
I have a machine in a storage unit that has a remote lock. The lock is broken so I can’t open the machine. I have someone who will open and repair the lock but I don’t have an outlet in the storage unit to plug the machine or any tools needed to repair it. Should I buy an expensive generator or is there a portable outlet that would work?
lacanteen
It takes at least 12 amps to fire up a 501E. Borrow or rent a generator. It needs to be at least 1500 watts minimum. More is better.
cvending
If all you are going to do is still open the lock, you can do that with a fully charged battery operated drill.

It’s a remote lock so once it’s open and the lock is changed we have to make sure it’s working correctly so would have to have power to machine
AZVendor
Unplug the compressor and lights then you only need 24v AC to the logic board and lock. Edited February 21, 2022 by AZVendor
