Can anyone help on this one have not come across this one before?

Was this with original board and display or were either recently replaced?

Original board have the machine working a couple of years as normal. This fault just appeared.

If the machine is otherwise working, it's likely a bad display. If it's not working, remove the battery from the board for 5 minutes and see if it will come back.

Got to site today and fault has gone away

Display working as normal.

It's possible you just have a loose or damaged harness going to the display.  If so, especially if it's loose, the problem could come and go simply by opening and closing the door.

Power the machine off, then plug and unplug all connections several times to clean the pins. If you find any corrosion, clean with contact cleaner.
