Popular Post AZVendor
With some searching I finally found their website (not easy to find) and the machine looks like an AMS. If the threaded stud isn't reaching the cage nut then look for a wayward harness laying in the front floor that is blocking the door from closing. If the stud does reach and especially if it starts to thread into the cage nut, then you may have a bad or worn out T-handle or it's assembled wrong. You can go to the AMS website and download a parts manual for your machine. Are you enjoying the excess money you spent on this rebranded, wrapped machine?
NYCandyMaN
also, make sure that what you took out, is the same as what you're putting back in, may look the same, but might be threaded differently, also, why did you change it in the first place? Thanks, AZ, of course not we've already beaten this dead horse. I actually want to sell them. So it's an AMS, what's it worth, Paid $7050.00 Canadian. Thanks NY, I changed the mechanism because both the lock and latch appeared to be stripped and it was recommended by vive.

Why do they say made in the USA on their website? 1 hour ago, AZVendor said: With some searching I finally found their website (not easy to find) and the machine looks like an AMS. Vendo Mike
Based on the way it pulled out in your video, I'm curious if the threaded stud is correct for the receiver. Have you considered taking the mounted receiver off and thread onto the stud with the door open so you can confirm fit? Seems like the stud may be a smaller diameter.
AZVendor
Well, it's obviously not an AMS now. It could be a USI machine of some kind or even a, cough, cough, POS Seaga, which is what I'm leaning toward. They slap USA stickers on all of their machines though ALL the parts are imported and Seaga just assembles them in Minnesota. That lock is a slam lock. It's supposed to let you push the door closed and then just turn the T-handle 1/2 a turn to snug it and lock it. Hold your stud and see if you can still turn the handle. If you can then the T-handle assembly is jacked up. Otherwise you either don't have the slam nut aligned with the stud or the slam nut assembly is bad.

Its like it doesnt reach. mystery...
Fitz
I am checking Alibaba can't really see the identical machine on there, Any possible way of checking the actual serial # or where the real one is located? By law, there should be an original serial # no? Thanks guys
AZVendor
Look on Seaga's website or, better yet, ask Vive who built the machine and what the model number is. If Vive sent you the replacement part then tell them to send you the right one that fits.
AngryChris
Sometimes the threads won't catch because the door sags a bit and actually prevents the door from closing far enough before you can start twisting. You might have to lift up on the door to get it closed. This is worse if the machine is not level. Sometimes the nuts get worn or moved out of position, especially after being slammed shut. Just an fyi, I NEVEE slam doors shut. I never have done that and it's never been necessary.
AngryChris
Also, I had a royal where I changed the t handle and it gave me fits. The metal piece that covers the lock inside was causing the screw to be pointed slightly to one side. I had to modify it some way so the screw was straight. It would not catch until I did that and it's really difficult to figure out because you can't see the problem as it's impossible to close the door and see what's happening.

Seaga doesn't answer the phones and arent they American? A guy on Kijiji is saying he can get the same machine on Alibaba for $1,200.00. Doesn't seem right. AngryChris
I'm pretty sure I recognize that machine as from a company out of Florida, Jackson Florida I believe. I had a little "conversation" with the guy on facebook (if it's the same company) because he was bragging about how great his machines are and now they are made in America. Problem was that people were saying they had problems with his machines. Rather than help with the issue, he just praised himself and his "company" for how great it was. He couldn't give any helpful information or any tech support. I didn't trust him at all because he came across as nothing but a guy who wanted to sell things for high profits and not offer any support whatsoever. I am 90% sure it was stated/implied that these machines ARE made in China but the company "modifies" the equipment and that they are somehow better when made in china (his words, if I recall). I would never trust his company because he absolutely would NOT offer any useful information... the likes of which USI, AMS, Crane, Royal, Vendo, etc, would all offer when asked. The TL;DR version of his sales pitch was "it doesn't matter what you think, my machines are better because I say so"
