Charlie613
Hey Everybody, Picked up a route that happened to have 3 Seagas on it (slower stops) and about to get a bunch more on another route. Seagas all working, but my VMS needs DEXing to get data in. The boards have a DEX port and have harnesses there. Problem is that when I try to DEX, nothing happens (DEX fails). The manual for the machine clearly references DEXing and the boards ability to do so. Calling Seaga/HY results in a quote for $1500+ for a new board. Anyone have any experience with DEXing these machines?
AZVendor
As has been said many times before, by myself and others, do not use Seaga crap. You're beginning to find out why.
NYCandyMaN
the older models might've been ok to use, sell them asap or don't use dex

Vendo Mike
Some machines require extra hardware (ie zero volt cable) to operate with some reader / dex systems. Those generally come from the mfg of the device, not the machine. I would start with your card reader mfg as peripheral companies generally revise their devices to work on current equipment as opposed to the equipment being revised to suit a coin/dbv or card reader system.
