AngryChris Posted February 15 Share Posted February 15 It might be a simple fix or it could be a sensor issue. You have to pull the bill box off, pull the bottom out (press on the metal tab on bottom and pull the lower unit out), and then check for a piece of a bill stuck in there. AZVendor Posted February 15 Share Posted February 15 As Chris said you need to expose the bill path. The tab he refers to is the silver bar that is across the back of the validator. Lift it up (spring loaded) and then slide the base of the bill path out. Take a soft cloth and wipe the exposed sensor glass off (no moisture) and then do the same for the opposing sensors inside the bill chute. Put it back together and see if it's fixed. Vendo Mike Posted February 15 Share Posted February 15 The cross channel sensors are referring to the prisms found on the edges of the bill path about 1/2 way along the lower track on the lower track.
