ska173
Wood Marketing, your best bet is to search these forums for your answers, there are many threads that answer your questions and an entire portal on locating good but the quick answer is depends on the machines. Racks and interactives lend themselves to commission whereas smaller bulk are ideal for charity.
rodney69
I am new to the business and would appreciate feedback on what works best for you in locating machines, charity or commission? Pros and cons on each? I don't think it's necessarily pros and cons, but more what meets your needs and what you want to do. They are 2 different types of vending. I personally do both. Charity quick and easy, but doesn't make as much per spot, and less ooverhead. Comission is more per stop, but more work I guess.

Wood Vending
I guess I made a mistake asking a question in here. I thought that was what this forum was for, but thanks Rodney69 for your answer.
sherlock
I guess I made a mistake asking a question in here. I thought that was what this forum was for, but thanks Rodney69 for your answer. Your mistake was not in asking A question. Your mistake was asking a question that has been discussed and re-discussed and re-re-discussed so many times over that a simple review of the forum or a quick use of the search function would provide you the answers you seek. Anyone trying to head up a business should be willing to do the leg-work to launch it. When someone asks ANY question like yours, most experienced vendors know the questioner is probably someone unwilling to do their own legwork around here. Typical business owners aren't apt to spoon-feed a wanna-be entrepreneur. The conclusions established members around here come to when reading posts like yours may or may not apply to you. But, conclusions are drawn nonetheless. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck.....

He is just upset because he was a moderator and nobody really listened to him and he lost his title. He is one of those guys that has to have a title to feel like he belongs, you know the type. Rick
At a minimum the Beginners Mega Thread should be required reading before having the ability to post. I try to remind myself though that when you start out you're just anxious to make contact with a human being with vending experience.
Wood Vending
Thanks guys! Yes, I am new here. Like Rick said, I guess I was anxious to chat. Untill finding this discussion board it felt like being on an island alone, trying to start in this business. I promise to dig deeper next time, promise to not be a pain to everyone, and hope to make many friends in here. With that being said, I DO appreciate any help and info I get from each of you. moondog
The problem is that unique questions are becoming very scarce at this point as most have these issues have been covered to adnauseum. I fear that if we shun all the old questions, the forum may dry up for lack of participation.
