Firetad4
Got a new and first pop machine DN501e. A huge thanks to Randy of AZVendor for all the hep so far. My issue is that every once in while a can doesn't make all the way down the chute. I don't see any issues with angle of chute I'm gonna wash it and I wondered if like a coat of wax would be a solution. Any other ideas?
allen watson
Cleaning the chute usually does the trick. I had one that wasn't dispensing the end columns. After washing the chute, no problem.
AngryChris
Make sure the machine is level and not leaning backwards and the tray Isn't somehow too low.
AZVendor
Also make sure there aren't any bubbles or waves in the chute liner - that would require a new liner. If you still have problems after leveling the machine, cleaning the chute and making sure it's installed correctly (check that the rear edge is sitting on a lip that runs along the back cabinet wall) then you can apply a light coat of food-grade silicone spray to the chute. If you do that don't be generous with the spray. Too much will cause the cans to slide down the chute too fast, risking a burst can or they could fly out onto the floor. Poplady1
We were told told to wash and then use silicone spray. It worked
Firetad4
Thanks for all advice. I've cleaned it and through a little wax on it, just what I had handy and got it in service. So far no complaints.
