Lake Cities Vending
I have a Royal Merlin 2000 that says sold out on one column. I pulled product and there was no jam. Replaced product and did a test vend and it worked. When you insert money it says sold out?
lacanteen
Probably the door switch. If it's not working the board can't see the door open to fill the columns.
AZVendor
The door switch is what resets the sold outs so if it's broken or not actuated by the inner door when the door closes no sold outs will be reset. It will do this even on an empty column which means that a new sold out condition for an empty column won't be set until someone tries to buy that column and the machine senses no product dropping. Lake Cities Vending
Thanks, I'll go by there today and check it out.
Lake Cities Vending
Went by and pulled plug wires then plugged back in. Pressed door switch several times and it still would not vend on the one column. Unplugged machine and plugged back in. Works now. Probably should get another door switch anyway. AngryChris
A bad door switch would make sense since powering the machine down reset it.
