maestro489
I have an AP 113 snack machine that's not taking coins. I have changed the coinmech twice and that didn't matter. It takes dollar bills just fine but no coins.
cvending
Sure the coin Mech is good? Do you have another machine you can try that coin Mech in to see if it's good?
cvending
Was machine except bills will it make change for a selection? What type and model coin Mech is it ?
maestro489
Yes I tried two different working coinmechs. They were both 6000's. Not sure if it made change or not. Most items in the machine are $1 so it wouldn't have caused much of an uproar.
maestro489
I'm afraid it's the board. Would trying a 9300L coinmech make a difference?
AngryChris
I doubt it would make a difference but it's worth a try. I have had to do that before and it worked for no known reason.

Would trying a 9300L coinmech make a difference? inside the power box there is a board that controls the power to the 110V coin mech, if your changers won't even payout coins then I believe this board has failed. You could plug in a 9302LF or TRC6010XV coin mech which are 24volts. Make sure they are the 15 pin 24V mechs and not the 12 pin variety that was out for a few years. I know you can use 110v or 24v validators on this but unaware about using 24v for coin mechs. I only use 110v coin mechs. Are you sure a 24v will work? AZVendor
Yes, a 15 pin 24v mech will bypass the lack of the 110v power. This is only if nothing on the coin mech will work including the payouts. If the 24v mech then works you should replace the 110v power board. If you need one you can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom.

maestro489
So I checked the coinmech today and it does give change? The only thing it won't do is accept coins. Why
cvending
TRY THIS COIN MECH IN ANOTHER MACHINE TO SEE IF IT WILL WORK. IF IT DOES, PROBLEM IS WITH THE MACHINE. iF IT DOES NOT, BAD COIN MECH.
maestro489
I did that it worked fine in another machine. So if the problem is with the machine what is the problem. I did notice the ground is disconnected could this cause that problwmproblem
AngryChris
It's doubtful that a loose ground will do that. Is it possible that the coin return lever is pushing down on the coin mech? I doubt that's the problem. Weird.
