shanipaqman
How do you all value a charity route for sale? Older equipment, probably about 80 2 headed machines on location, most crappy, some good. Getting from very old gentleman who is retiring, 72, and who kept meticulous records and is even showing me the tax return from 2016-2017 sales. He just wants out but wants to get something for the equipment. I am prepared to give him a very low offer, but wanted to see your thoughts? Last year gross was $13k. QuikVend
Any idea what brand of equipment? Older northwesterns will hold far more value than old vendstars.
NYCandyMaN
where is this route located? I would be interested in this, if its not far from me.

jerrybrooksvendall
Good for you neighbor! Lypcs are junk in my opinion.... Plastic gears in the wheel slips.jmo. But I would grab it for a lo ball number!
QuikVend
Lypc is junk. I'd lowball, you're going to be replacing the equipment, so it hold no value. I'd pay what you would pay a locator.
orsd
40 bucks a pop.
orsd
Decent stops for charity, probably run it 4 times a year, not bad. Stands are worth something, and used Oaks with 25 cent mechs and candy wheels are a dime a dozen. Plus you can sell the LYPC's on eBay.
nepavend
40-50 bucks a spot since his numbers seem good. You will be investing in equipment to replace current locations. I would replace a few and take the best of the junk machines and place new locations. Then upgrade a few more and repeat the process. Good luck. heritagevending
I agree with Joe. Also, an established route and longtime locations are worth more than new locations. Much left than $50 though, and he is better off letting it sit 6 months and collecting it one more time himself and letting it rot. Don't be too cheap and miss out on opportunities.
