TKK
So im at the point where i need to find a legit and stable supplier for snack machines. I do not want any older machines. Only crane, ap, or usi with only surevend, posivend, golden eye, ivend. I know usi sells the new black diamond ones for 3500 and they finance. Does anyone know of some with refurbished ones like cranes or the older usis (6to4 years) for less?
SCOTT1963
There are plenty of refurbs out there by reputable companies. There are folks here that will tell you where to shop around to find what you need. I work for one of the largest rebuilders in the country so it wouldn't be fair for me to recommend anyone. TKK
Well can you recommend your company? I found a company that sells crane 147s upgraded to mdb and surevend for $1299. And the 167 already w surevend for 1499. The way i see it is if i get 10 what a difference. $13,000 cranes with surevend and mdb, or $35,000 for 10 usi black diamonds....are the 147s good machines upgraded? Once i hit them with leds any machine looks like new..
AngryChris
The 147's are like 15 years old or so. I'm not sure on their actual age. The 167's are much newer and better if you ask me. But the USI's are, in my opinion, better than the other two. If you have the income to finance them, new is the way to go.

I'm forced to agree with Chris The 147's have a weak tray connection and if you've got people shaking the machine (who doesn't?) the trays can disengage resulting in a service call or no sales from that tray. You should consider AMS - A&M has quite a few refurbished ones available

A new logic board won't overcome the original shelf connector problems.
cvending
The 167s are much better than the 147s. They will be dual spiral and hard wired shelfs.
SCOTT1963
I would take the 167 over 147 any day of the week. The AMS are great but there is something to be said for saving money with an A-1 Refurb. BTW, I work for Vendors Exchange out of Cleveland.
RJT
It is going to be difficult to find a single machine supplier for newer machines. I am still not sure what you are referring to with "Black Diamond" like I said in my pm USI to my knowledge has never made a line of machines called that. SCOTT1963
Wittern makes it. It is a Federal Machine, they may not want to claim it (and they don't) but they do manufacture Federal Machines and Black Diamond Series machines are Federal
TKK
The black diamond is an available upgrade with that modern pannel on the side, and i believe l.e.d. lighting. Usually like 200 to 300 more than the more basic one.so no one has a distributer that can ship and has decent machines for sale? I dont want any old crap no more like single spiral aps, usi etc. Im gonna pass on the 147s as i hate the pin trays.
AngryChris
Moondog already mentioned A&M. I believe they will ship stuff but you'll pay quite a bit more to have them shipped.

Either way is sounds like a good deal to me even if you have to add $250 per machine for shipping... how far are they being shipped?
TKK
1650 each is just for one. Where u save is shipping. For 10 its like 500 total vs 250 for just 1. Not too far its 8hr drive from me.
