davco1
I had to place some machines into two busy locations, so I bought AMS Widegems with Conlux Coin Mechs and Crane card readers. IT seems like the Conlux mechs jam a lot. Is there / Are there things I can do to prevent some of these? Being a novice with snack machines, are there things I need to look out for with these set ups? Thank you in advance for the input.
AZVendor
They are what they are. Change them out to Coinco 9302GX or MEI 6512 if you just need three coin tubes or change to a MEI 7512 for 5 tubes.
davco1
Is the MEI a superior coin mech? Where can I buy them and are they hard to switch out?
AngryChris
The 7512 is arguably the creme of the crop, but i personally believe the coinco 9302-gx is the most proven, reliable mdb coin mech to date. The only problem is that it is three tubes but that may not be an issue with a card reader.
davco1
Where's the best place to get a couple of these 7512s?

nvb
I've had 6 of the Conlux MCM5's in service for the past year with zero problems/ jams. Surprised to hear other folks having issues.
Southeast Treats
Conlux makes the low end of changers and validators; it works OK when it is new but I don't think their equipment ages well.... I upgrade to MEI whenever I can afford to do so....
