Corvus Corax
I know this is a stupid question but... I have a Coke DN501E with 8 round buttons on the front. It sits outside and 3 of the buttons are stuck in. How do i replace the buttons? I am sure there is a drink to jiggling them out but i thought I would ask before I get angry and break one off. Second question. This model has a long coin rail to the coin mechanism in the middle of the door. Is there a way to convert to something that drops straight down. Coins keep getting jammed on the rail. Thanks in advance.
orsd
Clean your coin rail. If it’s metal get yourself some carb cleaner and blast the golpher out of it. Done. Just keep that golpher away from plastic though, ask me how I know.
cvending
You sure it is a DN 501E? I am not familiar with those having round buttons or the long coin rail. Sounds more like a Royal.
QuikVend
I have a DN 276E that has the round buttons with a coke front. It has 7 buttons though, so no sts issues
lacanteen
As for the buttons, use any cleaner that doesn't have ammonia, petroleum distillates (WD40), or silicone. I use denatured alcohol and pour it into a spray bottle.
Corvus Corax
Your are right, it's a Royal. It sits outside at a quarry truck scale. To say it get dirty is an under statement. I have spare buttons. The ones on it are jacked, I really just want to know how to replace the buttons.
AZVendor
You have to remove the button panel bracket that holds them all. Be prepared for the buttons to fall out when you remove it.
