drpleasure
Hello again. Was going to replace the BP4SX with another acceptor in a USI snack machine that would take bigger bills but found 7 fasteners instead of the 4 11/32 nuts I am accustomed to...three 5/16 nuts that appear to be holding a bracket. If I take the acceptor and bracket out, will I be able to insert another acceptor?
tc vending
Model number of the USI machines would help answer your question.
AZVendor
That doesn't make any sense. I've not seen any USI machine that didnt use the 4 nuts. 7 "fasteners" is crazy so you must be looking at something wrong. What are the fasteners? bullyfrog
I know what you're talking about. Take out the standard 4 and push the DBA from the front. It will pop loose, it's just really tight.
AngryChris
You might be trying to take the mask off of the validator by mistake. You want the two on the bottom and two on the sides of the mask (near the top of the opening).
drpleasure
Hello, and thanks for the responses. The bill acceptor has the standard four 11/32 nuts. The other three are 5/16...one in between the bottom two 11/32 and two behind the bill acceptor that would only be accessible with a flat wrench...sounds like I might not have to loosen them to get it out...I was timid in pushing too hard...thanks! AZVendor
Doh! The 4 - 11/32 screws will release the validator from your door. The other nuts hold the bezel to the front of the validator. You do not remove those 3 nuts at all. Edited September 27, 2019 by AZVendor
