MaxCoinVending
Hello, can someone help me identify what Bevmax this is? Bevmax
AngryChris
Bottle drop bevmax. Either a 5591 or the other one (2545?). Looks like it's probably owned by Dr Pepper Keurig
orsd
Bevmax1. Either a real early 5591 or a 2145 judging by the lack of product pushers. 750 is pretty steep for one. If it’s a 2145 I’d pass, and even if it’s a 5591 you’d have to spend a lot of money to buy pushers. I wouldn’t pay too much for this machine. MaxCoinVending
The price is in Canadian. So maybe 600 bucks USD. I am thinking of grabbing it but my mover is on vacation. Has anyone moved one of these before, could I lay it down inside a van?
AZVendor
No. It's too wide for a van. The machine is more fragile than a stacker machine so it should really be left standing up.
orsd
I’d pass on this machine honestly.
falls
I'm going with an original ECC machine (Before being bought by DN) . Main difference is the gates are shorter, no product pushers, right product spacers aren't the 'snap in place' type, and display, display cable are the original non IR units. If I recall correctly they were built to dispense Snapple glass bottles as the native product. Also no anti tamper fronts to the product bin. Source: I had a bastardised version of the ECC with a couple of later shelves added by whoever I bought it from. machine went to vending heaven years ago. ABCVending
I think the black bezel on the front will say ECC or Dixie depending on how old (I have a bunch of bottle drops) The really old ones are 2045's - then 2145's then 5591's (I think) Lot of people on here don't like bottle drops and the reasons are all solid - but they work for me, easy to move, easy to work on, simple in a lot of ways - the refer decks are crazy expensive but available. The way we have been moving them is with rented drop deck (platform lift) trailers - pallet jack goes right under them and roll right onto the trailers - move them by myself all the time (no stairs!!) - cost about $50 to rent a trailer from Sunbelt for a weekend.
