If you don't have a harness or your board is incapable of running MDB, then your only option is to upgrade the machine IF possible, or replace the machine. However, there are exceptions with machines that are MDB that cannot run a card reader. One specific example is a USI 3189. That machine will NOT run a card reader despite being MDB. AZVendor Posted April 12, 2019 Share Posted April 12, 2019 Yes, you have to run MDB for a card reader. You would have to post the model of snack to get an answer of whether it can be MDB or not.
