Lucky Mint Vending

Came across an ad for mint vending machines.

Just wondering if it's real or a scam. The company looks new.  Recently started facebook page (Nov 2020) their incorporation papers come up when you search the company name Lucky Mint Vending LLC

I'm just doing research to start vending on the side. Is this a fools errand?

Thanks

Max

It is an absolute scam of epic proportion. This is a classic biz-op scam where they sell unwitting people ridiculously over priced vending equipment and locations to put them in. 6 location and 6 crappy Chinese mint machines for $2490.00 Run don't walk away from any offer like this.

Are they pushing 6 machines for $2,490? Or $415 a machine?

If so this is what we call a BizOp. Business opportunity. Those machines are overpriced for what you get, their promises are often over the top, and they often say they will locate the machines for you, and you may end up with horrible locations for half, and half in your garage. I am remembering from people who have posted about other BizOps in the past and had this happen to them.

Yes that's exactly what the deal is, plus you get the 7th one free.

Ok, thank you for confirming what I suspected.   I couldn't possibly see how they would be able to provide quality locations when they are in the US.

Ok Ill just keep doing my research. My hope is to be ready to start by the fall.

Please stop your research and realize that ANY vending sales pitch you find is a scam.  There are only 2 ways to get into vending, buy individual REAL vending machines (used, not new) built in the US and locate them yourself or buy someone's existing route that you can substantiate whatever information they give you about it.

Understood, but why do you say used only? For example, a local guy has a couple new in box little buddy machines he claims didn't ever find locations for and wants to get rid of them.   He has them listed at less than they sell new on a site like candymachines.com. Not a good buy?

He specified used as it is much cheaper than new equipment. For the right price new in box but pre owned equipment can be a great deal.

However you should still consider the make and model of machine and price to see if it is worth buying. There are many machines for sale by candymachines.com that I would not use on route even if it was for free.

Do you have a link to the ad?

Joe Zapata is the nam to watch out for. Not necessarily a good sign. Did anyone call this company? Lucky Mint ads show the mints actually selling for $.50, not $1.00. They cannot even keep their sales pitch straight. Also machines available online for under $200. These guys may take your money and deliver nada. Buyer beware.

A question was posed to your site about the Lucky Mint Vending Program by a person looking to get into vending. Without researching the company you and a few others from your group made comments towards Lucky Mint Vending that are just not true. We would like to point our what is offered by Lucky Mint Vending and see if you would be willing to retract, remove or re-comment towards the actual offering so the statements made would be correct and not stab at a company trying to help people find a means of supporting their current incomes or replacing them as a whole once they understand the vending business and build to a level supporting such a change.

First off Lucky Mint Vending offers 7 machines, 7 stands, free shipping, free first product fill, a training package we had written that would cost about $3000 by itself to be coached and 7 locations with location guarantee.

The 7 machines and stands are a high quality product made of Zink Steel, Steel,  Aluminum, Poly Carbonate Astrene mix, a specialty high quality ABS plastic with an all metal patented smart mechanism set for $.50 cents. The dispensing canister inside the machine is a state-of-the-art patented single product dispenser that is used in machines like Chupa Chups Lollipop machine our manufacture made for Chupa Chups particularly. The stand is an all-metal stand used by several companies to put their machines on. They are made in Korea by a manufacture who has been manufacturing vending equipment for over 28 years and currently produces products for companies like Eagle Vending, Beaver Vending, Global Gumball and others and is providing equipment all over the world. This is not a cheap Chinese machine as your group claimed.

Lucky Mint Offers the 7 machines for $2990.00 which covers everything the person is to receive to get a great start into the vending business. What do they receive?

Free Shipping: It costs approximately $35 a machine and stand to ship in the US and is included.

Free Product Fill: On the 7-machine package it is 840 mints or $420 return on investment. The mints sell for $0.50 cents and at no time has Lucky Mint stated that the mint sold for a $1.00. Your responses once again "saying we can't get our story straight" makes the claim that Lucky Mint stated they sold for $1 when it is and only has been $0.50 Cents a vend.

Training Package: We had a person with over a 300 machine route and who does this full time put together the training it took to get into and understand the vending business. It includes information on how to locate your own machines, scripts to use, places that offer the best returns, how to clean the machine and make them presentable. How to work with a locator to secure the best locations. It gives a location contract, route sheets to manage your mileage, costs and other important information needed to manage your business and much more. The person who wrote this for us will come out for $5000 to $10,000 to help you locate your machines, train you on how to locate and teach you all the other items found in the kit. Most people at this time cannot afford that amount of money so we give them the training package free along with the other items in the package to help them become successful.

Locations / Placements: Each machine is located. The buyer works with the location specialist directly to either accept or reject a location until all the machines are on location.

The persons name that was mentioned  and said to beware of this person we do not know. We have had no affiliation with him or any others for that matter. We have our small group who is greatly interested in the success of those we work with and have no affiliations with any others other than our location specialists that have done a great work being in the business for over 28 years.

Lucky Mint Vending is not a scam of epic proportion. Lucky Mint does not sell cheap Chinese machines. Lucky Mint did not ever claim we sold the mints for $1 therefore they can keep their presentation correct. With Lucky Mints location specialists we work with make sure the machines go into great locations and do not end up in any garages. The wrapped peppermint patty is a great product to sell with the pandemic and ongoing health challenges the public has experienced. The people touch the money and the machine but no need to touch the candy they will be putting in their mouths. Peppermint Patties have been one of the best-selling bulk products since the late 1980s when vending is what made the York Peppermint Pattie what it is today. Without vending there would have been no York. We use the best machine and stand available. We sell a great name brand product; we ship all the items with no additional cost with a location group who does great work. We are interested in the success of those who work with us. Your group has been obstructing that with your off the cuff comments. We ask you to remove the comment - Scam of Epic proportion, The comment Cheap Chinese Machines, The comment where claimed to sell mint for $1 and $0.50 cents and not getting the presentation right, the comment about locations being place in bad locations and in their garage. All of these comments are false and misleading towards Lucky Mint Vending and what we are offering. Throwing negative or demeaning comments towards a company you do not know should be against your policies. With your ethics we are sure they are they just need to be paid attended to. Thank You - Lucky Mint Vending

Whatever. Since you are apparently still kicking around I guess nothing said here has hurt your business.  Still, a single product business with an overpriced machine that is proprietary to it is still not advisable for a new vendor to get into, even though a steady stream of unsuspecting buyers is your business model. I would never expect you to agree with that opinion. A buyback guarantee would change things. Hmm, I'll bet that never happens.

lmao… 7 of those single head lucky mint machines for that price is absurd. someone actually put one of those machines in a barbershop i have a gumball machine at. they removed it within 4 months as it didn’t get any sales. it’s not an attractive machine, and mint doesn’t really appeal to kids. in my opinion, you always wants want to appeal to the kids first with these things.

We here at Lucky Mint appreciate your opinions. You are correct on appealing to children if that is your business model. There are many mint machines placed in barber shops where the general patrons are older people that do exceptionally well. The barbershop you were in shows we do provide great locations just the wrong machine for that location. We are not stuck on one machine and have machines that they can place in those location if the customers are more of children age. Our training program written by professionals like yourself teach how to create a great route, the machines to use and the types of product that will work best. The mint machine is used because of the quality of product that it is, the demand that it does have and being a wrapped candy when the next virus comes along they still receive plenty of sales to weather that storm. Other machines like your general bulk candy, capsule and gumball machines are something we provide as they understand the business, place the first set of machines and understand how to work with a location owner. Once they get past that part of the training it is time to look at the placements and decide if it is a good location for that machine or not. They then make adjustments to make the machines work properly for them. It is a building process to help them get in to the business, understand the business and make good money being in the vending business. You make mention only about the machines and placement but our program is a lot larger than that. It is the training and all that they are taught to help them succeed is what brings a large value to our program. The proof of customer success is in our programs longevity and the track record of these machines. Taking a Maroon, Dark Blue or Black colored body with chrome trim, a large display window with an attractive display brings plenty of business. With those of you who have been in the business for a while what value would you put on "what you know"  and "how it works" for you. There is always a learning process. We are just helping them through it. Cheers to the vending business!
