Aloha Fresh Posted April 24, 2022 Share Posted April 24, 2022 Need help trying troubleshooting a AP snack shop 113 machine that for some reason is rejecting any quarters placed into it. Swapped 2 other coin mechs thinking that was the issue but same problem. Not sure what is going…machines accepts & counts nickels & dimes just fine. It’s just quarters!! HELP! Vendo Mike Posted April 25, 2022 Share Posted April 25, 2022 To my knowledge, the AP 113 does not have the ability to prevent the acceptance of particular coins. It only enables the coin mech to accept or reject all coins. In most cases, a particular coin being rejected means that the coin mech needs to be tuned. As coins are changed over the years, you have to have the coin mechs retuned to include those new coins. Have the mechs you tried been checked on a tester or another machine to confirm quarter acceptance? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Aloha Fresh Posted May 6, 2022 Author Share Posted May 6, 2022 Thanks so much for all that info. I tried “re-tuning” and that didn’t work so ended up replacing the coinco altogether with a spare.
