Check out vistar. Good dates on product and I think the minimum order is only $500. They'll give you net14 if you have decent credit. Pretty sure they will deliver residentially as well. They sell product to lots of vendors from their warehouse.

Auburn, Renton & Seattle all closing - they had the doors locked yesterday, supposed to be back open today so they can spend the next couple weeks dumping inventory (might be a good opportunity to pick up that big screen TV) Expect all three of them to be shuttered by end of January. Contact them and they will refund your membership fees and cash rewards (since ALL the stores in Washington are closing - they wanted to give me a Walmart egift card as refund...lol, I took it because Walmart has a pretty good fishing tackle selection which is about the only thing I buy from them. The Costco business center in Fife has a pretty good selection of vending product - or Vistar as mentioned is another option.
AMD Snacks
I'm actually in bulk, I just stopped by this forum since i'm also in WA. I'm not sure if Vistar does bulk candy, can't see from their site. But I'll be shopping costco for sure.

Sgolembiewski0903
I'm doubly stressing, not only do I get all my product from Sam's Club (their pick-up service is amazing) but I also have three machines in one of their employee lounges... no elevators - God knows how much it would cost me to move those machines down stairs... AngryChris
I'm sure you could use the elevator if they let you in.

It's a handicap elevator and isn't rated for a vending machine, I've heard that most PHX area Sams are like this... Granted its worth looking into! Idea for future thread: People's thoughts on using a handicap elevator to move a machine!

That is ridiculous for me, and by the time I paid shipping, their prices would be too high to make a decent profit. I pray our Sam's don't close. We're ordering around $1300 a week from them and they discounted our delivery fee to a "fuel charge". We also order from Costco for many of our candy bars and some snack items. Costco is free delivery after $250 and you can get double discounts if you use the their credit and executive membership.

Based on my experience with Costco, the in club prices on chocolate is usually not as good as Sam's. Also, they don't have the selection that Sam's has. Corvus Corax
Anyone know why, they seem to be way profitable around here.
AngryChris
The only thing i came across that might explain anything was that sams club is raising minimum wages to $11/hour. Perhaps they decided to close underperformers to afford wage increases.
Sgolembiewski0903
Two of then that I frequent are always so slow I wonder how they stay in business! One of those closed, I'm assuming the other will too if they close more stores

Saw a short interview with Sam's CEO and he said ..... "We have taken a really hard look at the real estate portfolio and decided to exit clubs that cannot, or will not, be successful under our new strategy and in some cases -- historically have not been," Sam's Club CEO John Furner told TheStreet in an interview. "Some of the places we are exiting today have geographies with low population or geographies with more clubs than the market will support." I don't have numbers to support it but I imagine that it is much more cost effective for Walmart to convert as much as possible to online/direct delivery. Dealing with the public face to face is a costly endeavor on so many levels for these big companies. The more you sell online the less staff you need and less staff means a much better bottom line.
